Open Question: Why are so many people recently HATING ON HATING on Israel?First I'd like to state that I am an Los Angeles born 23 year old of Chilean descent. I have no Arab nor Jewish lineage whatsoever. Now recently there was a question asking 'Why are so many people recently hating on Israel?' which can be found here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100226121653AApYkSz&r=w#DpBkAnHoUjAbdxP.qeDX I noticed my answered was now hidden due to the number of 'thumbs down' ratings my answer received, and I suspect most of the raters were Jews. The fact of the matter is that people are hating Jews now because of their the state sponsored political assassinations that they continue to carry out (i.e. the Hamas leader murdered in Dubai by a Mossad death squad very recently) and the fact that they continue to abuse the Palestinians in the Gaza strip and elsewhere in the Middle East. And also the fact that they annexed East Jerusalem is another contentious point. The UN has repeatedly criticized Israel's aforesaid annexation and continues to do so along with the rest of the world. This is why there is so much hate for Israel today. So my question is this: why is there so much support for Israel? The only reason the United States continues to aid Israel is because they are our best friend in the middle east. if it weren't for that we wouldn't be helping them at all, and that truly is the bottom line. I WAS TAKEN TO AN OUTSIDE HOSPITAL IN HANDCUFFS AND I WAS SUPPOSEDLY TREATED WHICH I WAS NOT.ALL THE DR DID WAS GLANCE AT ME I SIGN A PAPER TO THE OFFICER & WE WERE ON OUR WAY BACK TO THE JAIL. MY CHARGES WERE DISMISSED & 3 MONTHS LATER I GET TWO BILLS ONE FROM THE PHYSICIAN & THE OTHER FROM THE HOSPITAL,I CALLED THEM UP & THEY SAID THAT THERE IS A BAKER ACT LAW THAT ALLOWS LAW ENFORCEMENT TO TAKE ME TO A DR & THAT I HAVE TO PAY, I LOOKED THAT LAW UP BUT ITS FROM FLORIDA & THIS HAPPENED IN CALIFORNIA.PLUS ITS INTENDED FOR MENTEL PATIENTS WHO ARE SUICIDAL PLEASE HELP ME WITH WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS, I LOST MY JOB BECAUSE OF THIS ARREST I HAVE NO WAY UP PAYING THESE BILLS THAT ACCUMOLATE $616.22. Open Question: SHOULD I CONTEST THIS TRAFFIC TICKET OR JUST PAY?I'll try to make this short...Last month in the morning,on my way to work,I got a speeding ticket for going 51 in a 40 mile zone. When the officer asked me how fast I was going I told him honestly 40-43max and he said "oh well I don't know how fast you were going right now but I clocked you at 51" back about a block. I live in los angeles and a week prior we had about two weeks of heavy rain but that day it didn't start to even drizzle until the officer was writing up the ticket. Yet he still wrote down "wet conditions" and "unsafe driving". I have never gotten a speeding ticket in my life, and the officer told me he"hated to break my record" after asking when the last ticket I got was even though he just ran my license and insurance and could clearly see I have a clean record and even receive a good driver discount. What makes me want to fight this is the fact that when I was 17 I flipped a car after hydroplaning in the rain going like 15 miles per hour, so I know first hand how reckless it is to drive in the conditions he accused me of. Im 24 now and that accident barely was lifted off my record last year and to this day I still am too afraid to drive on the freeway when its raining. I would like to pay the ticket now if it's useless to fight it and take traffic school so my insurance stays at the affordable rate it is. The problem is, I can't find the ticket in the system, not by the citation number or my drivers license and its been over 21 days. I really appreciate any advice anyone might have.
