Open Question: are any of these los angeles, CA animal shelters no kill shelters?burbank animal shelter, agoura hills animal shelter, or west valley animal shelter. i am guessing none of them are no kill because they are regulated by the city, but i need to make certain, as i am adopting a dog or a cat for my daughters 7th birthday present and will only adopt from a kill shelter, to save a life. thanx in advance! Open Question: Like deer hunting. Am cheap. Need good out of state. South Carolina? Texas?I don't mind flying. I am a very small man, and all seats are first class for me. I like deer hunting. But I have no skills. Currenty, my best friend is a ranger, and he simply tells me where to be opening day, and I have a place with the wind blowing in my face and shoot the deer at under 50 yards. I can only hit a moving deer at about 50-60 yards. I can't find deer on my own. What state has the cheapest guided hunts? From Field and Stream magazine I think the two states for this are South Carolina or Texas. I would prefer Texas. I live in Los Angeles, and could simple drive in my Honda Hybrid (it gets great mileage) to Texas. But it would have to be a place where the deer is easy to find, because I have never found a deer on my own.
