Open Question: Something which to do on Valentine's Day?My girlfriend and I want to do something for valentine's day, but we're sick of movies and such. Keep in mind that neither of us drive so it would have to be something we could do without a lot of driving. We live in the Los Angeles area if that helps. Open Question: Is there a name for the architectural style of apartment building built in a doughnut around a pool?There are a lot of apartment buildings in Los Angeles built in the same style. Usually they are 2 story buildings, built in a rectangle, with a courtyard in the middle that has a swimming pool in the center. My guess is that they were built in the 50s or 60s. Do these buildings have a name for that style? Open Question: Who should i call to help a dog?my neighbor has a dog, who's always outside, in the heat, cold, rain and is only fed once a day. he doesn't take care of the dog! he has no human interaction at all, and i really feel bad for the dog. to make things worse he has a hive full of bees he hasn't gotten rid of, and the bees are always stinging the poor dog. who can i call to let them know whats going on and see if they can help the dog? I'm in los angeles,ca by the way. please help he's been out there for about two years. i just moved in 4 months ago, but i know hes been out there for a long time.
