Any suggestions on where to stay?I am starting graduate school next fall, and will be going to University of California in Los Angeles. I wouldn't mind staying in graduate housing or apartments that are owned by the school, but I am having my son this March, and he will be coming with me. So far from what I have heard and read on, the apartments and dorms owned by the school only let graduate students with 1 child live in a very tiny 1 bedroom area. Not trying to be picky, but I need at least a two bedroom. So my question is: What areas in or close to Los Angeles have affordable apartments (or even houses) to rent? I have been looking online, but I still want personal opinions. Thanks!
