Open Question: Los Angeles county vs. Miami-Dade County? and more... Open Question: Los Angeles county vs. Miami-Dade County?Open Question: Why would my Sportsman's Club/Hunting Club do this?I belong to a Sportsman's Club/Hunting Club in the San Fernando Valley (Los Angeles.) I am a "Legacy," which means I got in because of my late Father's and my brother's membership. The club is dying from want of members. They recently had to cancel trap shooting due to lack of interest. They realize that they need to bring in new members, or disappear. So, the OBVIOUS solution is to start having all the kids who play video games get interested in shooting. I have ALWAYS wanted to run a youth group. I have for years, wanted to start a Boy Scout Troop at my church. I could take them shooting. It didn't happen. I have the NRA Instructor Certificate for Basic Rifle Shooting. I have a California State Teaching Credential, and am a tenured (tenure is two years of no bad evaluations) teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District (I teach fifth grade.) I teach at an elementary school in the San Fernando Valley. So at the last meeting, they were discussing ways to bring in new members. I mentioned starting a .22 Rifle Class for kids. They said they would get back to me. Well, they got back to me. They told me they would NEVER be interested in me teaching a youth shooting group at the club, so I didn't ever have to ask again. Isn't this short sighted? Middletown "We?" Multiple personality syndrome? Sybil? The Three faces of Eve? Open Question: Where is the Sony Music office in Los Angeles?Where is the sony music entertainment office? I know it is in LA, but need the exact location. thanks! Open Question: Where should we go for Spring Break? My step-sister and I have to choose a place to travel for Spring Break. The thing is, we have radically different personalities. She likes parties, fashion, clubbing, beaches, and shopping. I like museums, history, writing, photography, art, meeting new people, walking, stuff like that. We are both 18 and can drive, though I prefer solitude while she always wants company. Ideally I would accompany her to do what she wants while also having time to myself. We'd prefer a place where we speak the language. We both speak English and Spanish, but I prefer English, while she prefers Spanish. I also speak Italian. We would also prefer that the flight not be longer than 10 hours. I don't think she'd agree to England (and I went this past year anyway), and I didn't really like Paris (though I did enjoy smaller towns near the Pyrenees when I went to France). That said, staying in the US would be preferable, but not necessary. We've been to NYC twice this past year, so that's out. She suggested Los Angeles, but I can't think of anything I'd want to do there (but if you have suggestions, I'd be amenable to hearing them). I suggested Alaska, but she immediately declined. I have been to Spain (Madrid), but she hasn't, so right now, we're thinking Barcelona. But I think that's a bit far for her first time traveling out of the country. Another choice would be Amsterdam, but, again, we don't speak the language (though I'm sure enough people there speak English). I'd be open to hearing suggestions. Anything to do in Los Angeles? Canary Islands? Barcelona? ANY other place in the US would be great as well if there's enough for both of us to do. P.S. - We don't want any place that gets too swamped during Spring Break, like Mexico. We live in Miami, so we see plenty of that already. For this reason, beaches are also not necessary, though she would appreciate it. She doesn't like the cold at all, but I love it. Ideally it'd fall somewhere in the middle so we could both enjoy the weather. Open Question: How exactly does the gamestop trade in deal work?i have an edge card for it so i get more credit for games right? and they have that 50% thing going. so what do i do i have all these games for xbox, and how much should i get? can you get store credit or do you have to trade in for a game? i have: Smack down Vs. raw 2008 guitar hero 3 Skate. midnight club los angeles Lost planet black site Area 51 bio shock gears of war 1-2 im not sure if im selling them alll but yeah. Open Question: How do African Americans in New York feel about the slow but sure disappearance of Black Harlem?I ask because I remember reading a NY time article saying Harlem including Central and East Harlem and the area around Columbia University is less than 50% Black. I notice a similar thing has happened in Watts, Los Angeles, meaning a neighborhood that was once the West Coast's most famous Black neighborhood now has very few Blacks. So my question is how do Blacks in NYC feel about Harlem's transformation into a more White and Latino area. I personally think Black Harlem which I consider to be Central Harlem alone is undergoing what Italian Harlem went through between the great depression and the Vietnam War, it altogether disappeared and became another ethnic group.
