I already have a solar system for my home....14 panels....it runs the house , but as soon as I turn on the pool pump the meter still runs backwards but at a 80% slower rate. I would still like to maintain the same amount of energy level . I would just want the pool pump to run on its own solar power. How many panels would I need and what would the cost be? I don't have a heater for the pool and the pump is 1.5 hp?
