Open Question: honoring invoice/contract?I was qouted $899.99 for a set of bedroom furniture to which I put down a $100 deposit. I was given an invoice that states the items and the total price as well as the deposit paid and balance owed. Now the store is saying they forgot to add the price of one thing to it, and said the new price is $1099.99. I live in Los Angeles if that makes any difference. Do they have to honor the $899.99 as the invoice states? And can I take them to small claims to enforce the invoice? or consumer affairs or whoever Open Question: Am I old enough to go to New York with my friends?I live in Los Angeles and this summer my friends and I planned a trip to New York. I am 18, but my parents tell me I'm to young to go by myself. Even though all my friends were allowed to go. I argued with them because this last winter when I was still 17 they let me go to Europe with my cousins what's the difference? Plus Europe is a different country and NY is in the US.
