Haim. Open Question: Who is the greatest player of all time?Personally, I think Bill Russel is the greatest of all time. We all know about the rings, but it was so much more. First off, Russel played against very tough competition. The current nba has over 400 players, compared to the 120 players in the 1960s, meaning more condensed talent. By the mid 1960s, every team had a hall of fame player: Boston Celtics: Bill Russell, John Havlicek, Sam Jones, Tommy Heinsolm Cincinnati Royals: Oscar Robertson, Jerry Lucas Philadelphia 76ers: Hal Greer New York Knicks: Willis Reed San Francisco Warriors: Wilt Chamberlain, Nate Thurmond St. Louis Hawks: Bob Pettit Los Angeles Lakers: Jerry West, Elgin Baylor Detroit Pistons: David Bing, Dave Debusschere Baltimore Bullets: Walt Bellamy He also did not face very short players either, as the average height of an NBA center was 6'10", with players like Chamberlain, Thurmond, and Bellamy 6'11"+. In addition, there were 35 players from 1960-1969 who were 6'11" or taller, including one player who was 7'3". And for those who think it was because of a great cast, consider this: The Celtics with MVP Bob Cousy failed to finish more than 6 games over .500, yet with Russel as a rookie won the NBA finals. Then he goes on to win every year, whether with Cousy and Sherman or Jones and Havlicek. Then Red Auerbach retires, and Russel wins as a player coach. The year he retired, the Celtics went from NBA champs to missing the playoffs. He was also extremely clutch, going 10-0 in game sevens. He made several series/championship winning blocks, and averaged nearly 7 ppg more in the post season, showing how he took over when it really mattered. His offensive game is also quite underrated. He was an excellent passer and a very good dribbler as well. Not all of offense is scoring. Like Wes Unseld, his outlet pass created tons of fast breaks that don't show up on the stat sheet, but resulted in two points thanks to Russel. But hey, this is just my opinion. Who do you think is the greatest of all time and why? Please do not just give a name and say some bs answer. Support with facts or insight. Russel: 11 rings 5 MVPs 12 time all star Open Question: I really want to loose Weight...?Okay i am 15 years old..i have been fat all my life,since i was little..i went to the doctor and when they weighed me it said i weighed 241...i wanted to cry...i have been wanting to loose weight but it is impossible! I live in los angeles and it is impossible to go outside and jog because i might get shot or something,And the ice cream truck is always passing by and its just so tempting. I really wanted to loose weight by august so could try out for the cheer leading in my Junior year but obviously that's never gonna happen..but i REALLY wanna loose weight and idk what to do...i told my mom to take me to the gym so i could go everyday..she says okay but never takes me...im so tired of being fat or obese..according to this i have 36.8 bmi...what should i do? Bw..why don't i look obese? my sister told me i look like i weigh around 180? im like 5'7? @alice-it says 241/ south central..gehtto. ohh i would work out with dvd's BUUUTT i live in a super sall house with 15 people in it. yeah.
