Open Question: Post 9/11 G.I. Bill...Question about Monthly Housing Stipend?

Im a veteran, married, honorably discharged in 2007 and on IRR as an E-4 currently living in Los Angeles, CA. I would like to go to school full time but rent is very expensive not to mention the cost of living in Los Angeles and I'm starting to feel a bit "Nickle and Dimed" at times. I heard something about the VA offering a monthly housing stipend. If so, is this deducted from your G.I. Bill or actually an additional legitimate housing aid benefit offered by the VA? Is anyone receiving it? Is this, along with the Book Stipend, deducted from your GI Bill benefits in any way? How much would I qualify to receive (i.e.$1458)? I apologize if the question is rhetorical but this seems a little too good to be true and any knowledge, experience or input is greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your time and concerns. http://www.military.com/education/content/gi-bill/new-post-911-gi-bill-overview.html#hs http://www.gibill.com/blog/tag/housing-stipend
