The album was recorded "live" at Cherokee Sound Studios, Los Angeles, California in 1976, where he collaborated with a 60-piece string orchestra, conducted by Don Costa, a legendary arranger, well respected for his work with Frank Sinatra, and was completed in just three days. There was no overdubbing. What you hear is what we did. Don Costa arranged the set, but the sound is still wonderfully intimate -- with a focus on Kenny's vocals and acoustic guitar.
