Open Question: What's the best and cheapest way to go to the Los Angeles Convention Center from Bakersfield for Anime Expo?at first, there was no problem at all!!! i was planning on car pooling with a friend and with her friends but then her friends had some issues with the whole hotel thing, there would of been 3 or 4 girls and me, a guy, i know guys would be thinking that i'm a lucky son of a gun!!! i thought the same thing too!!! gi gi gi lol but i guess they just don't feel comfortable with it even though i wouldn't really do anything to them!!! but anyways, i need some suggestions on how to get to anime expo in LA from Bakersfield, sure i could drive but i have a 1997 Chevy Astro Van, and to drive that thing that far for just person doesn't feel worth it or at least it's going to be really expensive for me, so i guess my question is does anybody know if the amtrak train or a greyhound bus stop somewhere close to the los angeles convention center??? also, at first i didn't really mind if i did drive over there but then i thought about the whole hotel thing and i'm going to have to get my own room which will cost me more now because at first we were just gonna split it all together and would of been like $100 for all 4 days but now i'm going to be alone so it's gonna cost me a lot more!!! so any help would be really appreciated!!! thanks Open Question: Should I be bothered that my bf hates traveling to visit me because of the state I live in?Boyfriend of 4 1/2 years, but long distance 1 1/2 years. He always travels to visit me in Ohio (he grew up here too), but he prefers it so much more when I visit him in Los Angeles.
